CAL Governor is Mr. Intrams 2013
By Elaine Bautista and Lea Marie Magtira
College of Arts and Letters (CAL) proved that pageant is not just the looks but it is the brain that matters after CAL Governor Kevin Bautista of AB Theater Arts garnered the crown for Mr. Intramurals 2013, September 16 at Bulacan State University’s Valencia Hall.
Out of 17 male candidates from the different colleges in the main campus and each representative from four satellite campuses, Bautista made his own way to be on top despite of being an underdog.
Mr. CAL made a lot of changes in the preparation for the event.
“Una yung syempre kailangang mag gym, nag gym ako and then nagpa-wax para dun sa swim wear kasi mauuna yung pictorial nun bago mismo yung pageant,” he revealed.
Bautista also shared his opinion about him being an underdog.
After he was crowned as Mr. Intramurals 2013, bashers appeared in the social networking sites contesting his victory.
“Actually it was part of the pageant na hindi lang looks, kailangan meron talino, brain,” Bautista said defending his self.
Lastly, he revealed how he stood out in the competition as well as the CAL.
“Siguro dahil nakasagot agad ako sa question and answer portion at para sa CAL naman yung pagiging humble, hindi tayo masyadong nag boboast na we are smart students and looks are good.
