With the competitions getting nearer, there is no stopping for coaches and athletes from the Bulacan State University (BulSU) to join the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association Region III (SCUAA-III) this coming December, not even lack of allowance and training facilities.

Former varsity player for the National Games turned athletics trainer in the 3, 5, and 10-km long distance run event Michelle Baluangco said yesterday that there is an obvious inadequacy of training facilities for the athletes.

College of Arts and Letters (CAL) proved that pageant is not just the looks but it is the brain that matters after CAL Governor Kevin Bautista of AB Theater Arts garnered the crown for Mr. Intramurals 2013, September 16 at Bulacan State University’s Valencia Hall.

Out of 17 male candidates from the different colleges in the main campus and each representative from four satellite campuses, Bautista made his own way to be on top despite of being an underdog.

Mr. CAL made a lot of changes in the preparation for the event.

Overspeeding is considered the most common violation in class 1 vehicles in North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), according to Land Transportation Office (LTO) under Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC).

LTO Liaison officer to NLEX Vivencio Santos said that overspeeding is still the number one committed violation by class 1 vehicles including private cars, SUV’s and vans in NLEX.

Bulacan State University’s graduate Ian Jay Torres Matias set a record high of 96.20 as the top-notcher of the last Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination released September 25.

Following this, the passing rate of the university in Mechanical Engineering rose to 78%.

 
BALAGTAS, Bulacan – Despite the slightly wet weather, Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel “Mar” A. Roxas II on Monday attended the Singkaban fiesta’s kick-off as the guest of honor.

Senator Franklin Drilon proclaimed that the senate ratified the law postponing the Sanguniang Kabataan (SK) election during his speech as the guest speaker of 115th Malolos Congress; September 15.

 “Bukas po (Sepetember 16) ipapasa ng senado ang batas na nagpapaliban ng halalan ng SK,” his voice echoed at the walls of Barasoain Shrine.

In his speech during the celebration of the 115th anniversary of Malolos Congress in Barasoain Church last September 15, the Upper House head announced that the Senate is set to pass the bill postponing the SK polls the very next day.
