Green Cobra’s prevail on BulSU Cheer Dance competition

Heightened voice of lively crowd echoed all over the Bulacan State University Activity Center (BulSU-AC) as the College of Arts and Letters (CAL) Green Cobras garnered the overall championship for the Cheer Dance Competition in the previous 2013 Intramurals, Friday, September 20. Showing off their best formations of intensified pyramids and heart-skipping stunts, the Cobras wowed their audience earning them a total of 96 points, overpowering other colleges and satellite campuses. |
INTRAMURALS 2013: Change of kick-off venue confuses BULSUans

Sudden change of venue of Bulacan State University (BulSU) Intramurals 2013’s kick-off program had brought confusion to several students.
The Intramurals' opening program on Monday, September 16, was transferred from the Bulacan Sports Complex in Sta. Isabel, Malolos City to Bulacan Sports and Convention Center in Bulihan, Malolos City.
Marijoy Adajar, a BS Psychology student, admitted that she has not been informed early about the sudden trasfer of the venue.

BULSU Women’s Volleyball team craves for victory

Last year, Bulacan State University women’s volleyball team lost to Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology.
What do these girls lack? What is stopping them to have their triumph?
First let us familiarize to this players, there are 14 players in the team namely: Kristine Gonzales, Jamie Anne Evangelista, Jamilah Mama, Janilyn Alimojane, Elizbeth Belleza, Jhenel Ilanan, Katrina Duenas, Dii Umali, Cherry Pangilinan, Shiela Manalaysay, Ria Peloria, Cherize Paula de Castro, their team captain Joane Balagtas and their ace player Joana Sabete.

CAL Cobras sway into Dance Sports finals

Two weeks were all that it took for the College of Arts and Letters (CAL) Cobras to groove their way to Dancesport hiphop category finals on Monday, September 16.
Cobras member Ryan Laloon of BAMC 3B told that his team was happy enough to make it even only in the semis as they were surprisingly called in for the finals.
“Two weeks lang kami nag-prepare para rito. So yung mga pagod namin kahit almost three days lang kami nabuo lahat para sa para sa praktis. Kaya masaya kami na makapasok kahit sa semifinals lang,” he said.

UAAP: Archers force do-or-die Game 3 vs. Tigers

De La Salle University shuts down University of Sto. Tomas to force a rubber match with 77-70 win on Saturday, October 5, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Jeron Teng led the Archers with 19 points, along with Norbert Torres and Arnold Van Opstal who came up with 16 and 13 points apiece, shutting down UST's Kevin Ferrer who only finished with 6 points and was burdened by foul trouble.

Sports have been shaping his life since his early adolescent years in Central Malolos Elementary School. Anjanette Galvez: Pitching for the gold

Born on September 5, 1995 from San Ildefonso, Bulacan, she considers her family as her greatest influence as her uncles and aunts also had a wide history playing softball. Despite a young age of 17, Galvez was no first timer in the field as she began her sports career in her elementary years when a softball coach offered her to play for the school’s team. She vows herself to the sport since then and became the Athlete of the Year in her senior year in San Miguel National High School. |
