Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections are to be postponed, according to Senate President Franklin Drilon.
In his speech during the celebration of the 115th anniversary of Malolos Congress in Barasoain Church last September 15, the Upper House head announced that the Senate is set to pass the bill postponing the SK polls the very next day.
Another thing that was present in the Senate President's speech was his confidence that the Congress will "eventually get back people's trust," and that despite the numerous issues surrounding the Lower House, it will continue its duty to its people.
He also lauded the current administration for its number of achievements in the middle of controversies being tagged to the Aquino government.
